Fire evacuation analysis of university laboratory building based on Chinese and Korean personnel standards

Abstract

Based on the adult body size standards of China and Korea, We are designed, this study used Pathfinder simulation software to simulate the fire evacuation of college laboratory building. Through the establishment of a three-dimensional model of the experimental building, the typical human parameters of China and Korea were set up to simulate the evacuation process under different scenarios. The results show that the size difference between Chinese and Korean people has a significant impact on evacuation time and efficiency. Due to the high average height, the evacuation speed of Korean people in narrow passages is slightly lower than that of Chinese people.
